The sophisticatedly designed full LED headlights, with diodes for all functions, not only look good on the KODIAQ, but also offer plenty of advantages. LED technologies’ many upsides include their longer life and the fact that they are less of a drain on power. The colour temperature of the LED headlamps is also closer to that of daylight, so it is more eye-friendly.
The KODIAQ is standard-supplied with LED tail lights, where there are diodes for the brake, tail and fog lights. This optional package includes a full LED version, with the diodes playing every role. Besides the benefits of diode technology, another of this version’s tempting virtues a distinct crystal structure visible from the side.
The large optional panoramic sunroof with a sunshade delivers plenty of daylight into the interior. The glass is tinted black, so only a comfortable amount of light and heat is allowed to enter the vehicle.
The model can be fitted with a rain sensor to automatically activate and control the speed of the wipers. The light sensor activates the car’s lights automatically when the intensity of ambient light falls below a specified value (for example when driving through a tunnel or at dusk). There is also a rear-view mirror with humidity sensor.
The multi-purpose Maxi DOT information display, located between the speedometer and tachometer dials, has undergone the same sort of revolution as television in the last century, so you can order it in colour. As a result, the navigation commands and data from your smartphone, radio and driver assists are easier to read and understand.
Windows with higher density tinting for the rear side doors and fifth door are available under the name of SunSet. This option prevents the rear passenger area from heating up so much and offers better protection against UV radiation, which will benefit all occupants, particularly parents whose children are in the rear seats.
