DCC allows drivers to customise the vehicle handling to their personal preferences: Normal, Sport or Comfort – an à-la-carte chassis setup.
The sports suspension is standard on the ŠKODA OCTAVIA COMBI RS. The body of the RS sits lower than the standard OCTAVIA´s to ensure both highly stable and agile handling performance.
These features provide the third-generation ŠKODA OCTAVIA RS with better agility in curves. The progressive steering changes the ratio depending on how far the wheel is turned. The XDS electronic differential lock improves wheel traction and reduces the risk of understeering in fast cornering.
The four-wheel drive system with electro-hydraulic clutch, replete with a diesel 2.0 TDI/135 kW engine and automatic DSG transmission, has been made available in a sporty RS version for the first time. With all four wheels engaged, you can feel the difference in the acceleration momentum.
The Performance Mode Select allows drivers to adjust certain handling characteristics in the OCTAVIA COMBI RS at the push of a button. Depending on the selected mode, a host of settings are changed, including the possibility of adjusting the intensity of the sporty sound.
Both engines for the OCTAVIA COMBI RS are available with a manual or a DSG dual clutch transmission, each delivering six speeds.
The OCTAVIA COMBI RS can be fitted with the optional RS Challenge Package, including a lap timer within a colour Maxi DOT onboard computer.
