The rear-view camera in the fifth-door handle uses the ŠKODA infotainment touchscreen to display the space behind the car and to indicate the driving line, based on the vehicle’s width.
This assist helps you to find a parking space wide to open the car doors and exit the OCTAVIA COMBI with ease.
The OCTAVIA COMBI can search for a suitable parking spot at speeds of up to 40 km/h. Once the sensors find a space large enough (i.e. length of the car + 60 cm), the system guides the driver in.
Exiting a tight space is now easier, too. In this mode, the Park Assist manoeuvres the OCTAVIA COMBI back and forth until it can exit a row of parked cars.
“OPS 360” warns of the potential risk of collision with obstacles during parking by drawing on data from 12 ultrasound sensors, the driving parameters and the steering wheel angle.
